It should be a treasured position by someone. Regardless, there are few if any just like that in the same or better condition. it's one of those guns that might blow your mind one day and sell for 2500.00 and another day for 650.00 and you can't figure out why. Undoubtedly it may fetch a four figure price at an online auction site. Around here, at a local show, I would imagine a price between 750.00 and 950, and it would take some patience to sell. You will find some reluctance of a public number, because some will want to PM you and try to steal it. If you really just don't have any use for a gun that should avoid unnecessary wear and tear, not even as an investment, I'd pass it along to someone who would appreciate it and buy another convertible you wouldn't be afraid to use. If it needed to be my fishing bucket varmint repeller, I'd buy a solid but obviously used piece that I wouldn't need to obsess about any unavoidable wear and tear. The Six series serial numbers started with 150-00001 (low back frame) and went to (approx) 150-64961. I'd keep it in a quality padded case, store in a humidity free environment, and wrap the box in a plastic bag and store separately to keep it pristine and avoid wear caused by use of access to the gun. Xringshooter said: I was answering some questions about the Six Series revolvers and that led me to a question I want to see if I can find the answer. I have a number of favorites that go to the range from time to time that still look like new. I would keep it and shoot it, but take special care of it.
